Decades is
comprised of music professionals with over 200 years of combined
experience! The members of this band have been performing for over
30 years and have opened for such acts as Eddie Money, Men at Work,
the Neville Brothers, The Buckinghams, Billy Joe Royal, The
Platters, and many more...
The Decades combines the smooth
sound of a three-piece horn section with a tight rhythm section that
adds to their rich, full sound. The vocal skills of The Decades will
have you believing that you are listening to the original artists
themselves!
Their
showmanship is second to none, their music spans the eras from the
1960's to current hits...Motown, Funk, Disco, Classic Rock...and is
sure to keep you dancing through the Decades.

Greg Karem - Lead
Vocals
Greg has been singing across the country for
over 30 years, with such groups as the Diamonds (Little Darlin'),
HERITAGE, and various other bands. His bands have opened for such
acts as the Platters, Billy Joe Royal, Tommy James, and many
others. His smooth voice on Chicago tunes and ballads will have
you believing that you're listening to the real artist.

Sue Ann Stone - Keyboard, Vocals
Keyboards, Lead & Background Vocals
Sue Ann brings her many years of experience on the Keys to the
band via gigs with HERITAGE, Sassy, and Feather as well as a long
standing performance at the Brown hotel as a solo artist. Her
vocals add a unique blend to the vocal harmonies of the band. Not
to mention improving the group photo!

Trombone, Lead & Background Vocals
Dave's experience includes a road gig with Heritage, a six-piece
horn band in the 70's who rocked the east-coast with its smooth
funk.

Yenawine - Sax, Bass, and Vocals
David has played around town with original
bands like Live Bait and, more recently, Romeo Laureano where he
hooked up with Mike Feiock. He's opened for Rare Earth, America,
as well as Eddie Money, Men at Work, and the Neville Brothers. And
someday, who knows who will open for him?

Brian
Arkels - Lead Guitar, Vocals
.
Brian began playing guitar at the age of 9. Four years later he
joined his first band and began playing professionally at age 13.
Having played a wide variety of musical styles with various bands
in different parts of the country, Brian has opened for such acts
as Jeanne Pruitt, Head East and Foghat. Brian came to the
Louisville area in 1992. After taking several years off from
playing, Brian is back in the swing of things rockin' with The
Decades. Watch him closely Folks... His fingers never leave his
hands!

Steve Matthews - Bass, Guitar, Vocals
Steve has
been a part of the Louisville music scene since his high school
days in the early 70's. He's been playing guitar and rockin' the
bass (and singing) since then in various types of groups from
rock, country, jazz, and contemporary Christian. Steve's
no stranger to audiences big or small. He's played across the
U.S. for as many as 12,000 screaming fans all the way down to 2
guys at a pool table and 15 ash trays. He's our solid foundation
guy and the rhythm pocket man!
